个人简介：

安徽岳西人，本科和硕士分别毕业于四川大学和浙江大学，2020年博士毕业于德国马普高分子研究所。2021至2024年在美国西北大学化学系和国际纳米研究院从事博士后研究。迄今以第一/通讯作者身份在Journal of the American Chemical Society和Nature Communications等期刊发表论文20篇，获国家优秀自费留学生奖学金（2020）、留德华人化学化工学会青年化学奖（2021）、美国化学会高分子材料科学与工程未来教师奖（PMSE Future Faculty Award，2024）等奖项，并曾独立申请获批德国洪堡基金会的费奥多尔·吕嫩研究奖学金（Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship，2020）和德国科学基金会的瓦尔特·本雅明奖学金（Walter Benjamin Fellowship，2020）。

本课题组以“向自然学习”为指导原则，以分子和纳米级的结构调控为核心手段，致力于设计、合成和构筑具有生命体系特征的功能软/杂化材料。具体研究方向包括：

1)    复杂高分子体系的仿生合成与构筑

2)    天然大分子材料的功能改造与应用

3)    功能软材料表面的精密加工与制备

英文简介：

Dr. Chaojian Chen is an Associate Professor in the School of Materials Science and Intelligent Engineering at Nanjing University (NJU). He received his bachelor's and master’s degrees from Sichuan University and Zhejiang University, respectively. Following two years as a Research Assistant at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he pursued his doctoral studies under the guidance of Prof. Tanja Weil at Ulm University, Germany. In June 2016, he relocated with the group to the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, where he completed his doctoral training in 2020. From 2021 to 2024, he was a Walter Benjamin Fellow, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), and an International Institute for Nanotechnology (IIN) Postdoctoral Fellow, working with Prof. Chad Mirkin at Northwestern University. He has received several notable recognitions, including the Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship (2020, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation), the Young Researchers Award (2021, Chinese-German Chemical Association), the IIN Outstanding Researcher Leader Award (2023, Northwestern University), and the PMSE Future Faculty Award (2024, American Chemical Society). His research focuses on bioinspired polymer architectures, programmable supramolecular assembly, and Nature-derived functional materials, contributing to advancements in these cutting-edge fields.
