个人简介

国家级人才项目入选者,本科毕业于中国科学技术大学(1981-1985),博士毕业于美国明尼苏达大学(1989-1993)。1993-2014年曾先后在欧洲微电子研究中心IMEC、美国Quantum Group、美国TDK集团美国分部等任资深总监、项目总监、主任工程师等职位;2015-2024年授聘西安交通大学材料学院教授、博士生导师、材料物理所所长。现任职南京大学功能材料与智能制造研究院特聘教授。作为首席专家牵头承担国家重点研发计划项目1项,主持国家重点研发计划课题1项、陕西省重点研发计划项目2项,指导/参与鹏城国家实验室项目1项、国家重点研发计划项目2项,并与华为海思/鸿之微共同进行存储器研究等。在Nat. Commun.Adv.Mater.Phys. Rev. Lett.Nano Lett.Phys. Rev. B等国际期刊发表学术论文70余篇;拥有/申请美国专利70余项,中国专利30余项。

主要研究方向为自旋存储/类脑计算/量子计算芯片应用技术研究;低维介观自旋电子材料、器件的电磁声光元激发和量子输运研究。


英文简介

Dr. Min, distinguished as a recipient of the national talent program, commenced his academic journey by obtaining his Bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (1981-1985) and furthering his studies to earn a Doctoral degree from the University of Minnesota (1989-1993). From 1993 to 2014, he held pivotal roles as Senior Director, Project Director, and Chief Engineer at esteemed institutions including the European Microelectronics Research Center IMEC, The Quantum Group USA, and TDK Corporation of America, respectively.


Transitioning to academia, Dr. Min undertook the position of Professor and assumed the Directorship of the Research Institute of Materials Physics at the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Xi'an Jiaotong University from 2015 to 2024. Presently, he occupies the role of Distinguished Professor at the Institute of Functional Materials and Intelligent Manufacturing at Nanjing University.


As a chief expert, Dr. Min has steered significant projects including a National Key R&D Program of China and a sub-project of another National Key R&D Program of China. Additionally, he has spearheaded two Shaanxi Key R&D Programs, guided/participated in a project funded by Pengcheng National Laboratory, and contributed substantially to two additional National Key R&D Programs of China. Notably, he has collaborated with industry giants such as Huawei Hisilicon and Hongzhiwei on groundbreaking memory research.


Dr. Min's academic contributions are widely recognized, with over 70 published papers in eminent international journals such as Nat. Commun., Adv. Mater., Phys. Rev. Lett., Nano Lett., and Phys. Rev. B. Moreover, he holds an impressive portfolio of more than 70 patents in the United States and over 30 patents in China. His research pursuits span diverse domains, including magnetic memories, neuromorphic computing, and quantum computing technologies. At the forefront of scientific inquiry, Dr. Min is particularly intrigued by the correlated electrical, magnetic, acoustic, and optic excitations, as well as the quantum transport phenomena observed in low-dimensional mesoscopic spintronic materials and devices.
